In a quest to save Ghana now and rescue the country from incompetent governance, the 40 year
old boy of St. Peter’s Catholic Senior High, Mark Oliver Kevor was elected as Regional Chairman
of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in its regional election this November 2022, at
Koforidua the regional capital.
The young Regional Chairman is a father and married with two boys and girls, lecturer,
researcher, Senate and Council member of the Presbyterian University of Ghana- Faculty of
Science and Technology whose research interests fall within but are not limited to Knowledge
Management Systems, ICT and SME studies, Telecommunications and services, and Information
Security. He is also a board member of the National Communications Authority and a member of
the UN Group of Government Experts in Cybersecurity.
Mr. Mark Oliver Kevor who made history for himself and the entire NDC won in a landslide
margin among other aspirants including Bismark Stephen Tawiah, Basil Kwadwo Ahiable, John
Owusu Amankrah, William Kwame Atamudzi.
Kevor becomes the second youngest Regional Chairman after Hon Julius Debrah (Former Chief of
Staff to H. E. John Dramani Mahama) in 2007.
Oliver among the 16 regional chairmen of the NDC are new crop of leaders elected in the party’s
internal election on November 20, 2022 across major cities in the country.
Power belongs to the youth. May his achievement motivate and inspire other young people in
the party to accept the challenges to work for victory 2024 and beyond.
